How We Work

Because we believe in giving couples the flexibility to create their perfect day at our outdoor tipi wedding venues, we work slightly differently to many other venues.

Step 1 – Choose your preferred tipi wedding venue

Decide which one of our beautiful tipi wedding venues you prefer and contact us to check availability. Also, have a look and decide which of our packages works best for you. As an independent, family-run company, we can be flexible on packages so if you want to swap and change elements, get in touch and we can work out a bespoke price for you.

Step 2 – Come and have a look around

Whilst our tipi is not up all year round, we are happy to show you the space any time. We do also regularly host open weekends where you can see the tipis in all of their beauty. Please get in touch on or call Derek on 07792 140311 to arrange a convenient time.

Step 3 – Sign your contract and pay a deposit

Congratulations – your date is confirmed!

Step 4 – Choose your caterer

With us, you can bring your own choice of caterer so you can have whatever style of meal and cuisine that you want. Sit down meals, barbeques, hog roasts or pizzas all work brilliantly at our venues.

We have worked with lots of amazing caterers in the past, all of whom are experts at catering tipi wedding venues, so if you need any recommendations, let us know.

Step 5 – Stock the bar

You can save a huge amount of money by bringing your own drinks for the day. We offer corkage-free options in some of our packages and we will even chill and serve it for you.

Step 6 – Other Suppliers

Again, you are free to use your choice of suppliers in order to bring your wedding vision to reality. We can help with recommendations or ideas for all sorts of suppliers. Closer to the day we will get in touch with each of them to make sure that they have everything that they need to make your day perfect.

Our Packages

Our package prices are the same at each of our tipi wedding venues. Please see the table below for more information but as mentioned, we can be flexible on these if you would like to create a bespoke package.

Tipi and land hire for 3 days. This includes a full day for decoration and set-up once the tipi has been erected plus a day after so there’s no need to rush.
  • Luxury mobile toilets. These are so nice you would not believe you
    were even in a field.
  • Generator power and distribution.
  • Onsite coordination from both event planner and operations manager.
  • Trained security on the day of the event – Making sure that your
    guests are safe.
  • 2 x planning sessions via Zoom.
  • All drinks to be supplied by The Venue Portfolio either as pre-orders or a cash/card br.

2024 – £10,000

2025 – £11,000

Our Signature package contains all that you would find in the Classic package with a few changes and a lot of additions
  • Three planning meetings either face to face or via Zoom.
  • No day time corkage. With this package you also have the option to bring your own drinks for reception, meal and toasts without any charges – we will even chill and serve it for you. At any agreed time, we will clear any unopened bottles and operate a cash bar which can be stocked as you choose.
  • Full liaison between thevenue and your chosen suppliers.
  • Assistance with any last minute set-up or prep the day before the event.
  • Personalised entrance signage – Yours to keep after the event.
  • Festoon lighting around the outside of the structure.

2024 – £11,000

2025 – £12,000

Our Timeless package leaves you with even less to worry about as we can take care of the details
that may be causing you stress. As well as everything in the Signature package, you will get:
  • Additional festoon lighting around the perimeter of the event area.
  • Two additional coordinators to assist on the day. These can help both on site and at other
    locations where needed.
  • Outdoor Cinema package. Put on a film to entertain guests or share a beautiful home video.
  • Atmospheric lighting package to continue to enjoy the stunning scenery after sun down.
  • Master of Ceremonies / Toastmaster.
  • Personalised planning book.
  • Picnic or barbeque for up to 10 people the following day.

2024 – £16,000

2025 – £17,000

  • Landhire, luxury toilets, power and distribution are included in all our packages.
  • Three-hat tipi with tables and seating for 120 people (capacity of 180 for evening). This includes internal lighting, mat flooring and dancefloor.
  • VAT – The price you see is the price you pay – no hidden extras.
  • 24 hour onsite support – We are onsite from the first day, so you know everything will go where it should and that no issues arise whilst you go and do all the last minute bits that you need to.
  • Camping – We do not charge extra for camping if you or your guests wish to stay onsite although they will need to bring their own tents etc.
  • Glassware and bar staff – Whether you are bringing your own drinks or not, we will provide all glasses for the event as well as chilling and serving your drinks.
  • Catering – As mentioned previously, you’re welcome to bring your preferred caterers, but we can put you in touch with some great people we have worked with before. We would need to see their public liability insurance and food hygiene certificate before the day but all caterers will have these.
  • Showers and additional toilets – If you or your guests are camping , we can easily arrange showers for an additional cost. If there are large numbers camping, we may need to bring in extra toilets for a fee.
