The Venue at Gayton is an outdoor wedding venue in Staffordshire. Not far from the A51 however a quiet oasis in the middle of the beautiful countryside. We are located approximately half way between Stafford and Uttoxeter.
With three lakes and far reaching views, the venue will take your guests’ breath away. Our blank canvas also means that you can have the day you really dreamed about. Even more, you can choose your own caterer and we have no-corkage options to save you money.

What makes us different?
Our packages include the land hire fee plus boring but important bits like luxury toilets, power and distribution. What really makes us different is that with our venue, you also get on-the-day coordination and support from both an event coordinator and operations manager. Therefore, you can relax and be part of the party.
We will make sure that the drinks are ready, the food comes out on time, and the music starts when it should. Furthermore, we ensure any technical issues that may occur are dealt with immediately – so your wedding or event is remembered for all of the right reasons.
Can I bring my own suppliers?
As an outdoor wedding venue, the only supplier that we insist on is our structural company, Elite Tents. All other suppliers, including caterers, are completely up to you. Additionally, we can recommend some superb companies if you need some suggestions or inspiration for your wedding or event. We have worked with some amazing people who can undoubtedly add the wow-factor to your outdoor wedding.
Do you charge corkage if we bring our own drinks?
We have different packages available (see info below) but some include a corkage-free option so you can bring your own drinks. We will even chill and serve them for you at no extra charge.
Our Packages

Our packages include our three-hat tipi which includes tables and seating for 120. For weddings for larger numbers, we can hire in larger structures so please get in touch.
Tipi and land hire for 3 days. This includes a full day for decoration and set-up once the tipi has been erected plus a day after so there’s no need to rush.
- Luxury mobile toilets. These are so nice you would not believe you
were even in a field.
- Generator power and distribution.
- Onsite coordination from both event planner and operations manager.
- Trained security on the day of the event – Making sure that your
guests are safe.
- 2 x planning sessions via Zoom.
- All drinks to be supplied by The Venue Portfolio either as pre-orders or a cash/card br.
2024 – £10,000
2025 – £11,000
Our Signature package contains all that you would find in the Classic package with a few changes and a lot of additions
- Three planning meetings either face to face or via Zoom.
- No day time corkage. With this package you also have the option to bring your own drinks for reception, meal and toasts without any charges – we will even chill and serve it for you. At any agreed time, we will clear any unopened bottles and operate a cash bar which can be stocked as you choose.
- Full liaison between thevenue and your chosen suppliers.
- Assistance with any last minute set-up or prep the day before the event.
- Personalised entrance signage – Yours to keep after the event.
- Festoon lighting around the outside of the structure.

2025 – £12,000
Our Timeless package leaves you with even less to worry about as we can take care of the details
that may be causing you stress. As well as everything in the Signature package, you will get:
- Additional festoon lighting around the perimeter of the event area.
- Two additional coordinators to assist on the day. These can help both on site and at other
locations where needed.
- Outdoor Cinema package. Put on a film to entertain guests or share a beautiful home video.
- Atmospheric lighting package to continue to enjoy the stunning scenery after sun down.
- Master of Ceremonies / Toastmaster.
- Personalised planning book.
- Picnic or barbeque for up to 10 people the following day.
